The 96-year-old Armenian Relief Society/ARS, is a women’s non-governmental, non-sectarian, social, benevolent, pan-Armenian organization, providing social/humanitarian care to communities in Armenia, Artsakh, Javakhq and the Diaspora. The ARS was registered in Armenia in 1991 and is active in 54 cities and villages of the Republic of Armenia with a roster of 1500 members. The mission of the ARS is to assist and promote the structuring of a lawful, democratic society in the Republic of Armenia, and to work for the realization of the social, educational, public health and humanitarian programs.
